Our town of Alvin, indicated on the map below, is northwest of Galveston along Highway 6. An old west type of community, the claim to fame is local boy, baseball great, Nolan Ryan. His museum that is open to the public.

Sightseeing Destinations also include NASA Space Center, Kemah (boating and restaurant complex), deep sea fishing out of Galveston, super shopping malls and outlets.
