There are numerous books on the market that tell the story of a soldier in active duty during wartime. If you haven’t had the opportunity to read one, you should give it a try. It will teach you about their struggles and sacrifices, their successes, and the loses that they see every day. One example is “Heart of a Soldier”. It is a story told by Pulitzer Prize winner James B. Stewart and tells the story of a man who survived a war and was true to his comrades in a time of need, but still lost his life the day America was attacked; Sept 11, 2001.
